The first family member to post information about themselves will actually go to Nancy! Hopefully, I will get my stuff upnot too long from now. Here is what she writes:
“Hi Family,
As the eldest of all the cousins I thought I would help get the ball rolling with this posting to the family bio section. My husband, Dave, and I are retired and we are traveling, seeing the country, in our RV.

It has been wonderful. One of the greatest things has been the opportunity to visit and reacquaint with family. We have been on the road for a year and a half so far and have only traveled through-out the Northeast and Mid Atlantic states. So we are looking forward to getting to California to see Aunt Janet and Aunt Helen again, and meet up with more cousins. It would be really nice if we could get this family reunion idea to actually happen. We would be there in a heartbeat.
I have a son, Jason. (Click on link to get his info.) And I hope he will be able to join us when we have our family reunion.
I feel very fortunate to be a grandparent. We have six grandchildren, from my husband’s son and daughter, who I try to spoil at every opportunity. Three of our grandchildren are in Phoenix, AZ, and three are in Nashville, TN. I also have two more grandchildren in Ohio from my ex-stepsons.
As far as hobbies go, when we are not sight-seeing we are either reading or doing some kind of arts & craft project. I like to make hand-made gifts whenever possible. I enjoy working with paper-crafts or doing watercolors and toll painting. My husband does stained glass and enjoys crafting things with his scroll saw (although we have found it is difficult to do these things as we travel).
As we travel, we are looking for that perfect place to settle some day after we are done with traveling. We lived in Phoenix for the last 15 years and retired from there. Arizona, the state has some nice areas, plus the grandchildren would be close by. But Eastern Tennessee, with the beautiful Appalachian Mountains, also peaked our interest. And I just loved DC with all the cultural events and art museums. Anyway, we have a lot more country to see before we will make any decisions of that type. I can see that it could be a difficult decision someday, but that day is a long way down the road. We have a lot more of the country to see yet, and we are not in any great hurry. We like to spend a good amount of time in an area if we like it to really get to know what it might be like to live there. We liked the picturesque Maine seacoast, so we are going to go back there this winter to hibernate and enjoy the snow while we are still in the Northeast, and before we head to the southern and western states. We are not exactly sure which direction we will go after Maine, but it might be to see the southern states of Georgia, Florida and the Gulf Coast Highway.
So that’s about it for us. We hope to hear from everyone else thru this family page that Kevin has set up for all of us to use to keep in touch.”
Attending Family Reunion: Sounds like a Definite!
